Bram Stoker’s Dracula

Abbada Bakkula,
Bram Stoker’s Dracula
By Sony Imagesoft
(Quite lost their touch)

Sega CD provides
Pointless full video.
Characteristically
Not worth that much.

Galaga

Zapping alien ships
Soaring through sparkling skies – ah!
Arcade perfection.

Alone in the Dark (2008)

Alone in the Dark
is a game rather stark.
It lets you skip chapters, and though that sounds kind,
simply skipping the game gives you more peace of mind.

Ninjabread Man

Ninjabread Man’s a poor game
that should bring its developers shame.
The controls are quite bad
and the graphics are sad,
yet I find joy in saying its name.

Metroid: Other M

If Metroid gaming you have sought
since Super NES,
then Other M’s the game for you;
yet flaws I will confess.

The exposition can run long,
and Samus will break down;
first person object hunting may
create an angry frown.

Its gameplay far surpasses all
the flaws I have confessed
for Samus jumps and shoots her foes
controlling as if blest.

She dashes, spin jumps, screw attacks,
drops bombs, shoots missiles far,
and nimbly dodges blasts and fists,
as though a kung fu star.

I’d rate this game quite highly, for
I disagree with them
who fail to see the gaming joy
of Metroid Other M.
